Workday Financials
Implementation Project

Phase IIa

On July 5, 2016, The Claremont Colleges will go live with Workday Financials system Phase IIa, which adds projects, capital assets and grants to the existing Workday transactional tools. Those who will use these new tools in their job received training several weeks ago.

In preparation for Phase IIa go-live, the Workday Financials system will be unavailable for use July 1–4. The shutdown was scheduled to coincide with the Fourth of July holiday weekend, but will also include Friday, July 1, which is a regularly scheduled workday.

The Workday Financials system project is just one of several projects that have brought representatives from each of the colleges together to develop unified solutions that provide efficient, cost-effective and up-to-date technology. The colleges are also evaluating cross-college solutions for a new Student Information System and a new Human Resources Information System and progress continues on the IT@TCC project, which will deliver service in six key areas of technology.

If you would like additional information about the Workday Financials Phase IIa go-live, please contact a Core/Design Team member from your institution.
